Daniel Beckman Interview | RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship Top 8 Finalist

long drive championship Daniel Beckman

Check out this interview I did with Daniel Beckman. Daniel was a Re/Max World Long Drive Championship Top 8 Finalist in Las Vegas in 2014.

That’s right…

Daniel is one of the world’s top 8 longest drivers of a golf ball on the planet and he spent a few minutes with us on the driving range at the Riverside Golf Club in Fresno, CA recently.

Daniel has made appearances on the Golf Channel and several other news stations. You can see his Golf Channel appearance HERE.

I think our interview with Daniel went just as well, but hey, I’m a little biased.

In our interview we talked to Daniel about how he got started in the golf industry and how he got started competing in long drive competition business.

In the interview Daniel also talks about how he kept pushing himself to get better and even when things weren’t going his way, how he stayed focused and continued to move forward.

His story is something that all budding golf competitors should take to heart. Even when you don’t think you can go any further. Even when you think you’ve got nothing left, take another shot at it just to be sure.

As Daniel says, “you’ve always got another yard in you.”

Daniel demonstrates his amazing long drive skill that has allowed him to launch a golf ball over 450 yards, in competition and he gives us a few long drive tips of his own, to help you hit it longer.

Daniel’s Long Drive Championship Future

I’m sure we’ll see a lot more of Daniel in future world long drive championship contests. The future of the Long Drivers of America is currently unknown. This was the final year of the Re/Max sponsorship, but Art Sellinger is confident they will find a major sponsor for the 2015 season.

I would like to express my gratitude to Daniel for taking the time to speak with us.

Best of luck in 2015!
